The Story Behind the ELS Crew Neck

In 2018, I produced my first garment. It was a Slogan Sweatshirt that had the ‘Love Long Legs’ slogan artwork printed down the front. Unfortunately, when I received the final garment, I noticed the sleeves were too short. My number one value for Bre Nikole is to ensure fit and I could not sell that shirt with the sleeves being short. With some thought, I decided to cut the sleeves and make it a ¾ short-sleeve shirt. Ugh! In my head it looked good, and I even tested it on a few shirts. I only sold two, but I could understand why. Who wants a ¾ short-sleeve sweatshirt… So, I tucked the shirt away for some years. In 2022, during the launch of the Slogan T-shirt, I came up with another idea for the sweatshirt. By purchasing more fabric and going into the opposite direction, I reconstructed to sleeves to be longer... much longer.  The design turned out to be much better than the original idea. The shirt has been renamed to the ELS (Extra Long Sleeve) Crew Neck with sleeves reaching.  So, with the backstory and limited quantity, I merge the shirt to ‘Love Bre by Bre Nikole’ exclusive edition. This is a statement to all the sleeves that never touch our wrist!
